Disappointment for it being trophy-less but a success in that we are definitely a better team moving along the right tracks (famous last words-I hope that comment doesn't bite me in the proverbial next season!!). Some promising players to watch out for next season from the reserves. Namely Emiliano Insua, Damien Plessis and Krisztian Nemeth (Nemeth has just been named in the Hungary senior squad) are just three to watch out for. In addition we should see more from Ryan Babel and it is only a matter of time before we start mentioning Martin Skrtel in "one of the best defenders" category. Don't forget having Daniel Agger back will be like a new signing. As much as I like Carra I think the Agger/Skrtel partnership will prove to be the main defensive foundation next season. We'll soon see the new signings arriving and sadly some of the departures will be popular players (eg possibly Crouch and Alonso). Still roll on the new season.
