Living The Moment

Robbie Keane has completed his move to Anfield yesterday and became the 5th Liverpool signing of the season. The move reportedly cost around 20.3 million pounds was agreed over the weekend. Keane is a Reds supporter all along and this move proved to be a dream for him. He will go straight into the 1st team and will have a chance to partner Torres in attack and also play in the Champions League next season.

His move came after the capture of another new telent David Ngog from PSG earlier last week. The 19 year old is also a striker and would provide more attacking sharpness for the Reds. Liverpool has lost the service of Crouchie to Portsmouth and now we’re getting 2 players with quality (although Ngog has yet to be seen)

Now comes the real debate. It was interesting to see that people have been commenting about Keane’s move to Anfield. Obviously the Spurs fans were gutted to see one of their consistent players go to their rival club. Much have been publicized about the earlier saga of Rafa making it public that he’s interested in Keane which later on prompted Keane to hand in his transfer letter to the Spurs board. Coupled together with his ambition to play in the Champs League with the club he supports ever since he was a young boy. Surprisingly, the spurs fans are content about the move and wished him well. The Directors, the coach and staff were all quiet about this as well which later sparked the saga on the pretty boy Ronaldo in manchester.

I mean idea is pretty much the same, Ronaldo supports Real Madrid since he was a little boy and he would obviously wanna move and play there. Its simple. But since he’s a player everyone knows and he’s with the champions then Sir Alex would not let him go. To me, this is not right. I mean whats the point of keeping a player whos heart is not with the club anymore. The issue is subjective yes…no one player will put his heart on a club forever (except for Carragher and Gerrard) but i just simply think that keeping a player who is not happy in a club will only make him not play 110%. But with Keane’s capture…nobody seems to make a big hu-ha out of it…my conclusion is…Ronaldo’s saga is just plain silly and yes…if you wanna move somewhere where you can think you’re much happier then go…be happy…

As for Keane…welcome to the family

Keane looks better in green than white…so thats why im

putting his picture in his R.o.Ireland jersey instead of spurs 😛

I went to watch the Dark Knight last night and all i have to say is the movie is Brilliant! with a capital B. I thought the late Heath Ledger put up a mercurial performance as the Joker. He brought the character to life and probably is the meanest joker ever to grace any Batman Movie. No disrespect to Tommy Lee Jones ( i thought he’s a good actor) but what Heath Ledger did on this movie was just outstanding.

The movie is darker, more serious and i can just feel the emotion in this movie. The intensity fo fear, anger, corruptions, trust, love can be seen in this movie. If you havent watched this movie, then i suggest you go to your nearest cinema. Forget about the star studded line ups in this movie…just dive into in from the very beginning…you see what i mean…i give it as one of the best films ever…top of my list…

a tribute to the late Mr Ledger….no longer as the brokeback dude!

Even the poster looks eerie…well done Joker!

Liverpool FC have confirmed the signing of 2 defenders. The first one is a Swiss International Philip Degen who plays on the right flank while Andrea Dossena replaced John Arne Riise on the left. Degen left his previous club Borrusia Dortmund and will challenge for a spot on the right side with Finnan and Arbeloa. While Dossena will compete with the South American boys Aurelio (Brazil) and new boy Insua (Argentina)after moving from the Italian outfit Udinese.
